About Us
The Brasserie has been in existence for approximately twelve years, serving a selection of continental fayre together with traditional English cuisine. We believe in quality, freshly cooked food and wherever possible source local produce and Prime British meats. Our menus change four times a year according to the season.
We offer an intimate and relaxing atmosphere and welcome families, couples, business customers, regulars and non regulars. Join us for a meal or come in for a drink on Monday night when we have local bands performing a selection of jazz and easy listening.
We also cater for private functions and offer buffets for christenings and weddings with custom menus created from £6.95.
We also have a private room which can fit up to 20 people and is ideal for birthdays, business meetings or just a good old fashioned get together.
Prior to conversion to a restaurant 16 High Street has had a varied existence ranging from its origins as a cloth mill, to a tearoom and more latterly a ladies outfitters.
The wide High street of Yarm with its Georgian facade and traditional cobbles still retains the feeling of yester year. The Town Hall is the most instantly recognised building in Yarm, which dates from the early 1700s when a tollbooth was demolished to make way for the present building.
Yarm has recently be voted Britain’s best high street by BBC viewers and has managed to change with the times to offer everything from groceries to a great night out.
